I have to mention the iconic Giovanniâs brand, they now have three restaurants situated in Cardiff and have served us their authentic Italian dishes for over 35 years! Their original restaurant is situated in the exemplary âHayesâ area, whilst their other city centre based restaurant is on Park Place, both restaurants are superbly located. Their third restaurant is named âPiattoâ and is situated in Cardiff bay, offering some exquisite pasta dishes. Look out for their homemade cheese bowls, which the pasta is served in, truly delicious. If you are looking for hearty and authentic Italian cuisine, then look no further than these exemplary Italian restaurants.

Lab 22 Cocktail Bar
The award winning Lab 22 cocktail bar situated just off Mill lane Cardiff, is truly superb. Itâs recently been named as one of the worlds top 50 cocktail bars, WOW! This is a tremendous honour for us here in Cardiff and Wales. They have an extensive cocktail list and expertly trained staff to prepare their sensational cocktails. I recently tried an iconic âSingapore Slingâ there and it was simply stunning! Matching the famous âRafflesâ hotel in Singapore! If champagne and chocolates are more your thing then opt for their âChampagne Soursâ cocktail, which is vodka based and has a beautiful white chocolate liqueur added to it. Simply delicious! Youâll find something for everyone in this outstanding cocktail bar. Itâs a must visit!

TEN MILL LANE BAR & CLUB
If you want to party after the concert then I have to recommend Cardiffâs âTen Mill Laneâ it is NIGHT LIFE hotspot. They serve superb cocktails along with a range of premium champagnes, Beers, Ciders and spirits. They have an excellent team there, who will make your visit to Cardiff go out with a bang! They have some awesome DJs, who will entertain you right through until 6AM! Can you do their 6AM challenge?

Fly By Night
Set in the heart of Cardiffâs very affluent high street in the castle quarter, sits the incredible Fly By Night. Itâs location is ideal for the âKillersâ gig. The decor has a beautiful zen feel to it which enhances the tranquil ambiance. I also have to mention the incredible blossom flower ceiling, itâs sensational! They have a beautiful selection of old and new world wines, which nurture all the right senses. If youâre a fan of red wine, then try the Changyu Cabernet Sauvignon, from the Ningxia region of China, it was a favourite of mine. This is an elegant bar and really offers a fine wine experience.

Etc Penarth
If youâre staying for the whole weekend and looking for a fantastic Sunday lunch then you have to visit âEtcâ, set in the heart of Penarth, itâs simply incredible! Just 15 minutes from Cardiff city centre by car or train. Itâs a stunning coastal town which boasts some outstanding views of the Bristol Channel, Sully Island and Flat holm Island from its recently redesigned Penarth Pavilion, which offers live cinema screenings, a cafe, along with live music and theatre! Their Sunday lunch is one of the best Iâve been had and also very reasonably priced at ÂŁ19.95 for two course or ÂŁ25.95 for 3 courses. The potion sizes are more than adequate and the quality of food is outstanding. Their lemon cheesecake as seen above was heavenly. They also offer their full A La Carte menu from 12.00PM on Fridays and Saturdays, which has some impeccable dishes. I would highly recommend their lamb dish called âMeryl Sheepâ, which combines a herb crusted rack of lamb, potato terrine, pea purĂ©e, seasonal vegetables and ratatouille jus. Itâs sensational! They also have a fine selection of cocktails and their fascinating smoking cocktails selection, their smoking cocktails are an experience on their own!

If you are looking for a LGBG friendly venue in Cardiff, then I recommend ‘Marys’, it serves an extensive selection of spirits along with fine champagnes, Wines, beers and ciders. They are open until late wns play all kinds of music, to get you in the party mood. They also offer 50% off drinks from 4-8pm! What more do you want!!
